HENN HC.WATER connectors are cooling water connectors that comply with VDA standards for water cooling system spigots. HC.WATER connectors have been in serial production since 2014. Due to their robustness, low assembly forces, safety aspects and high quality, they are increasingly replacing conventional clamped connections. These connectors are made of one metal piece, which provides stability, coolant resistance and excellent corrosion properties. The manufacturing process is fully automated and monitored.

The HC.WATER connector is typically offered in one particular version. The standard version features a sealing ring made of liquid silicone (LSR), but other materials are available on request. To guarantee the best sealing properties, a lip-seal ring with a wiper is used, which also helps to ensure low assembly forces when putting the coupling onto the stub.

All good connections are judged by their most intricate points. The fastening of a connector with a screw or pressure clamp is a compromise. This is why HENN developed its own crimping method, which not only crimps the hose onto the connector permanently, but also considers all material properties in the crimping parameters. The connection, crimping system and parameters come from one source - nothing could be more secure or more economical. No additional fastening elements are required.
