HENN HC.AIR connectors are charge air connectors that comply with VDA standards for charge-air systems. HC.AIR connectors have been in serial production since 2018 as a further development of the HC+. Due to their robustness, low assembly forces and high quality, they are increasingly replacing conventional clamped connections. These HENN connectors are manufactured as one stainless steel part, which provides stability and excellent corrosion properties. The manufacturing process is fully automated and monitored.

The HC.AIR connector can be delivered in two versions of sealing element material, AEM and FKM. To guarantee the best sealing properties, HENN uses a double lip seal, which helps to ensure low assembly forces of the connector and to catch dust particles.

All good connections are judged by their most intricate points. The fastening of a connector with a screw or pressure clamp is a compromise. This is why HENN developed its own crimping method, which not only crimps the hose onto the connector permanently, but also considers all material properties in the crimping parameters. The connection, crimping system and parameters come from one source - nothing could be more secure or more economical. No additional fastening elements are required.
