The quality seal is awarded every three years and not only increases the satisfaction of employees internally, but the company’s external attractiveness as an employer as well.
What does healthy management mean in a world of work that’s constantly changing? This and other questions were answered last Thursday at the BGF (workplace health promotion) seal of quality award ceremony of the Salvus BGF company network and the Austrian BGF company network (ÖNBGF) in Hohenems. New work expert Markus Väth provided specialist input here. With his presentation on timeless leadership principles, he inspired attendees and revealed which three qualities make up a successful manager: a positive attitude towards people, composure and sufficient confidence despite a loss of control. The highlight of the event was bestowal of the BGF seal of quality for workplace health promotion to HENN GmbH Co KG and four other Vorarlberg-based companies.
To support companies on the path to better health, the ÖGK (Austrian Public Health Insurance) relies on custom-tailored concepts adapted to the size of the company and the industry. The common denominator is still the promotion of health as a sustainable part of company culture: more motivation and satisfaction, optimized communication structures, opportunities for further education, healthy nutrition & movement and harmonious interaction. As part of workplace health promotion, HENN submitted all the implemented measures in the form of a BGF project proposal to the ÖGK. This proposal was evaluated by the experts at the ÖGK and distinguished with the BGF seal of quality. The goal here is to sustainably anchor health-promoting measures in day-to-day operations, which is not only beneficial for employees, but enables companies to benefit economically as well. The quality seal is awarded every three years and not only increases the satisfaction of employees internally, but the company’s external attractiveness as an employer as well.
